Mission and Vision of our Faculty Practice

Mission
Our expert practitioners provide both referral and direct access patient care services based on scientific evidence, modeling clinical education and inquiry for the future.

Vision
We will be the most respected physical therapy clinic in San Francisco, recognized for:

• the quality of our care
• the cost effectiveness of our care
• our sensitivity to patients' needs
• our integration of current scientific information

We will integrate with occupational therapy and speech/language pathology providers as needed to address the rehab needs of the adult and pediatric UCSF community. We will practice at sites co-located with the UCSF graduate and doctoral educational programs in physical therapy. Our practice will be a national model of an academic physical therapy practice. We will maintain our ties to the community and to wellness via satellite sites and the UCSF Health and Wellness Program at the Millberry Union Fitness Centers at Parnassus and Mission Bay campuses.
