Work Experience
Sarah began her career at UCLA, working in both the outpatient physical therapy department and the student health clinic. She then worked at Physiotherapy Associates in Hayward before joining the Faculty Practice at UCSF. She currently splits her time between patient care, research, and teaching. Sarah coordinates 3 courses each year for the MSPT/DPT program at UCSF/SFSU -- modalities, introduction to physical therapy assessment, and advanced orthopedics.
Area of Expertise
Sarah specializes in treating patients with a variety of orthopedic pathologies. Her specific areas of interest include upper limb neurovascular entrapment/thoracic outlet syndrome using Peter Edgelow's treatment methods, osteoporosis, sacroiliac dysfunction, and low back pain.

* During her MSPT and DPT degree programs, Sarah worked on a research study, a case report, and an evidence-based review manuscript focused on patients with upper limb neurovascular entrapment
* Sarah is currently working as a consultant on the PRYSMS study, a multicenter randomized controlled trial investigating the practice of restorative yoga and stretching interventions for individuals with metabolic syndrome, the precursor to diabetes

June has practised over 35 years as a physiotherapist. She has worked in InPatient care, but mostly in OutPatient Orthopaedics in large urban hospitals in Canada & US. She was in charge of the physical therapy care for the Quebec Olympic athletes going to the Montreal Olympic Games. She was involved with The World Cycling Championships and was among the first female trainer/therapists for the Canadian National Football League. She recently became certified in web/multimedia design.
